Let me explain something to you.  Katie Matlin is not a “crazy ass white bitch.”  Katie Matlin is sick.

She just got out of rehab.

Showing emotions (anger, betrayal, sadness, hurt) does not make her crazy.  It makes her human.

I do not condone her actions.  I don’t believe that she is dealing with her pain in a healthy way.

But she just lost her virginity to a boy she “loved.”  Now, for her character to admit that she loves you…puts her in an extremely vulnerable position.  Katie Matlin does not like to appear weak, or incompetent, or foolish. 

Katie not only lost her virginity, she lost her pride.  That is the second most important thing to her, besides her love for her family and friends.  Drew damaged her pride, and with that, damaged her very self.

Don’t you ever, EVER make a fool out of Katie Matlin, especially if she allows you into the very, very, VERY small group of people she trusts.

I believe that Katie will come to realize what she did was wrong.  But right now, she’s not in her right mind, and shouldn’t be condemned for such.

When Katie does love, she loves with everything she has, so don’t say that she is “crazy” for feeling completely destroyed when Drew acted the way he did towards her.

Katie doesn’t want to fail, hates to fail, and her relationship with Drew was a huge failure in her eyes - something she, Katie Matlin, couldn’t fix.

So give her a fucking break.
